Problem Note 30884: Data Validation shows a mismatch for Annual Income
Data validation incorrectly shows a mismatch on Annual income if the correct value is entered on Validation input. In this example, the Annual income is $147,000. If $147,000 is entered in Validation input, then after clicking Save, a mismatch is shown. Clicking on View Data shows that the value that $147,000 is being compared to is 0147, as shown below.
If the value 0147 is entered in Validation input, after clicking Save and then View Data, no mismatch is found, as shown below. Note that 0147 has been incorrectly converted to $147.00.
If the value $147.00 is left in the Validation input, a Mismatch is shown after clicking Save, as shown below.
The only way to use Data Validation for Annual income is enter a code for annual income in Validation input and then click Save. The code is annual income in thousands of dollars with leading zeros to make a code that is four characters long. In this example, the annual income is $147,000 so income in thousands is 147. A leading zero is added for the fourth character, giving 0147 as the code to enter in Validation input. Note that the code is converted and must be re-entered for each attempt to validate Annual Income.
A fix for this issue is planned for a future release of the software.

For software releases that are not yet generally available, the Fixed
Release is the software release in which the problem is planned to be
fixed.
Data validation will show a mismatch for Annual Income if the amount from the paper copy is enterred correctly in Validation Input. In addtion, when Validation Input is saved, the value is converted incorrectly and will again mismatch after subsequent saves.
